Dry particles
Buy dry particles?
Particles include items such as tiger nuts, hemp, buckwheat, and corn. Particles are primarily used as a base for your baiting spot. Some particles, like tiger nuts, we use on the hair.
What are dry particles?
Dry particles is the collective term for particles that are not yet prepared. You will have to put in a bit more work, but because many particles expand when you prepare them, you get more for the same money. Examples of dry particles that you can find at Karpercentrale include; dry tiger nuts, dry hemp seeds, dry maple peas, dry corn.
How to prepare dry particles?
It is important to soak the particles for 24 to 48 hours. The particles will absorb moisture and become softer. Then, the particles need to be boiled. The cooking time varies depending on the type.

Why prepare particles?
Properly preparing particles is extremely important for the well-being of the carp. If the particles are not cooked and soaked properly, they will be indigestible. This can even have fatal consequences.
